One of the main advantages of polaritons in semiconductor microcavities over other platforms, in studying many body phenomena, lies in the easy access to phase maps. In our lab, by menace of a digital holography technique, we have live access of amplitude and phase of the polariton wavefunction. This great advantage give us the possibility to study a wide tapestry of fluidodynamics phenomena such as superfluidity, quantized vortices, and also more exotic phenomena (see for example "Superluminal X-waves in a polariton quantum fluid" or "Real-space collapse of a polariton condensate"). My main task now is in further develop the experimental technique in order to overcome the actual technical limitations.
